John Joseph Jardine, Jr., born in Chicago, IL, March 20, 1948, died at home in Fort Lauderdale, FL, March 28, 2015.

John was a loving husband to Carol Jardine for 24 years. He is also survived by his sister Susan (Dr. Thomas) Cronin, Jr., his nephews Thomas (Mary Helen) Cronin III, Conor Cronin, his nieces Kelly (John) Eisinger, Katie (James) Sullivan and Maureen Cronin; and loving grand nieces and nephews - Mary Cate & Tommy Cronin, Johnny, Eve-Marie & Aiden Eisinger, and Maggie & Ciara Sullivan.

John was a loving husband to Carol Jardine for 24 years. He is also survived by his sister Susan (Dr. Thomas) Cronin, Jr., his nephews Thomas (Mary Helen) Cronin III, Conor Cronin, his nieces Kelly (John) Eisinger, Katie (James) Sullivan and Maureen Cronin; and loving grand nieces and nephews - Mary Cate & Tommy Cronin, Johnny, Eve-Marie & Aiden Eisinger, and Maggie & Ciara Sullivan.

John graduated from Quincy University, Quincy, IL, with a Degree in Business; and graduated with honors from the American Institute of Banking, at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. John was Vice President at Michigan Avenue National Bank in Chicago, IL, Sales Manager at Executive Construction, Inc. in Oakbrook, IL, and prior to his retirement was Owner of Gourmet Specialties, Inc., Vernon Hills, IL.

Upon moving to Fort Lauderdale, John became an active member of the Tides at Bridgeside Square Condominium Home Owners Association and Board Director for 2 years.

John was an avid photographer and had a passion and love for travel.

Visitation will take place at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale, FL - Tuesday, March 31st from 6 to 8 PM. Prayer service and burial - Wednesday, April 1st - 1:30 PM at the Gardens Cemetery, 4103 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL
