.Dolores H. (Driscoll) Gustafson, left us for a better place on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. At the time of her passing she was in the hearts and minds of those she loved the most.
Dolores was born in Chicago, the daughter of the late James and Hazel (Flaherty) Driscoll. Raised and educated in Chicago, she attended Longwood Academy. Dolores was united in marriage to her beloved R. Charles " Chuck" Gustafson, a union of 58 years that was centered around their home and raising their 4 children. Dolores was born in Chicago, the daughter of the late James and Hazel (Flaherty) Driscoll. Raised and educated in Chicago, she attended Longwood Academy. Dolores was united in marriage to her beloved R. Charles " Chuck" Gustafson, a union of 58 years that was centered around their home and raising their 4 children. In 1973 Dolores and Chuck relocated to South Florida and settled in Fort Lauderdale. During her spare time she enjoyed sports, dancing, reading, gardening and decorating. Dolores was a bright light in this world and her love and compassion brought much joy to everyone she met. Dolores was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a member of the St. John the Baptist Women's Guild.
Dolores is survived by her husband R. Charles "Chuck" Gustafson; her children; Chuck Gustafson, Dee McCormack (Michael), Bill Gustafson and Peggy Beacham; her 8 grandchilren, Katherine, Meghan, Sean, Shannon, Hannah and Aislinn McCormack, and Brianna and Chase Breckenridge
Dolores's funeral service will commence on Friday morning, October 21, 2016 at 10:30 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4595 Bayview Drive, Fort Lauderdale, with the Rev. Msgr. Vincent T.
